Whilst working closely with NYCC’s engineers, Hinko was responsible for taking down, cataloguing, and re-building large sections of this Grade II listed structure.
The bridge spans the river NIDD, so ecological and environmental considerations combined with operative welfare were essential, and, as pedestrian access had to be maintained throughout, it was vital that the safety of the public were thoroughly considered.
Through close liaison with the relevant parties the project was executed without incident, on time, on budget and in line with safety and environmental expectations.
